Virtual Exchange Workshop at Fremdsprachentag (Foreign Languages Day)

Annika Kolb and Harriet Jeeves from Freiburg University of Education hosted a workshop on Virtual Exchange (VE) in the foreign language classroom during the Foreign Languages Day organized by Seminar Freiburg.

In addition, participants engaged with a range of good practice examples that can be easily adapted to their own teaching contexts and gained hands-on experience with materials developed by the consortium for the Teacher Education Module (TEM).

Under the motto “Best Practice im Englisch- und Französischunterricht der Grundschule” (“Best Practices in English and French Instruction in Primary Schools”), participants of the event as w hole explored a variety of strategies designed to support teaching and learning in the primary foreign language classroom.
