On 14 May 2026, the Department of Language and Literature teaching (English specialization) at the University of Murcia hosted a training session as part of the Erasmus+ INVITED project (Integrating primary and preschool Virtual exchange projects into language Teacher Education). Led by Pedro A. Férez Mora and Yvette Coyle, the session introduced participants to the principles and practical implementation of Virtual Exchange in pre-primary and primary language education. Through hands-on activities, participants explored how to find international partners, design synchronous and asynchronous tasks, and integrate intercultural, digital and linguistic learning into VE projects. The session also introduced the INVITED training course and provided participants with opportunities to analyse and design VE activities based on the film Song of the Sea.
