Online Workshop at the ITE Conference

Harriet Jeeves and Nurjona Pinguri from the University of Education Freiburg (PH Freiburg, Germany) led an online workshop at the ITE Conference on 28 November 2025. Their session introduced INVITED Project, and spotlighted the newly developed teacher-education module created collaboratively by all partners of the INVITED project. They walked participants through the core ideas behind the module, its pedagogical aims, and provided practical examples of how it is embedded in the E-LINGO Teaching English to Young Learners MA programme. The teacher education module for in-service teachers will be available, for free, starting in September 2026 on ESEP.

Around 20 participants joined the session, including student teachers, teacher educators and staff from National Support Organizations across Europe. The mix of perspectives led to lively discussion about best practices of virtual exchange projects with children in early language contexts.

At the end, participants were INVITED to be part of the community by joining the eTwinning group, following the project on social media and attending the free events.
