Earlier this week, on March 10th, Kirsten Birsak de Jersey and Annika Kolb from the University of Education Freiburg spoke at the eTwinning im Fremdsprachenunterricht Conference in Bonn, organized by the National Agency of Germany. Their presentation, “Lernaufgaben für eTwinning-Projekte im Sprachenunterricht der Elementar- und Primarstufe” (Learning Tasks for eTwinning Projects in Early Childhood and Primary Foreign Language Education) highlighted the value of virtual exchange projects for young learners in foreign language classrooms.
This was also a great opportunity to meet in person the coordinators of eTwinning Germany, Anne Laaredj-Campbell, Laura Restrepo-Parrado, and Annika Gruß, with whom we are co-organizing the Online Partner Finding Fair on March 19th.
The conference brought together in-service teachers and teacher educators from across Germany to share best practices, showcase successful eTwinning exchanges, and engage in insightful panel discussions on fostering meaningful collaborations.
