INVITED officially begins

The kick-off meeting of INVITED took place at Freiburg University of Education in Germany from the 29th of November to the 1st of December 2023. This inaugural gathering was attended by all project partners and affiliates, providing a crucial platform for laying the groundwork for the consortium’s objectives and collaboration framework.

Over the course of three intensive days, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, aligning their expectations and defining clear pathways for the project’s development. Key sessions included detailed introductions to the various work packages, setting strategic goals, and outlining methodologies to ensure successful implementation.

A significant aspect of the kick-off meeting was the establishment of strong interdisciplinary cooperation among partners, as each participant brought unique expertise to the table. Interactive brainstorming sessions allowed for the exchange of innovative ideas, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to tackling project challenges. Additionally, the meeting featured insightful keynote presentations from practitioners and researchers working with Virtual Exchange projects that provided valuable perspectives on the project’s overarching objectives.

By the end of the three days, the meeting had successfully set the stage for the project’s next phases, ensuring that all partners were aligned with a shared vision and a commitment to impactful outcomes. With a solid strategic plan in place, the INVITED consortium left Freiburg with clear objectives and a strong sense of purpose, ready to embark on the exciting journey ahead.
